- Eligible flights:
- Only the flights listed below, operated under valid carrier combinations and routings that comply with all applicable booking class, Point of Origin, and Point of Sale restrictions and that are ticketed within the designated Ticketing Dates and flown within the designated Travel Dates to which a Discount applies, shall be considered an “Eligible Flight” under this Commercial Offer:
- United Flights: Flights operated by United or operated by other carriers and operating as United Express (“UA”).
- Transatlantic Flights: Flights marketed and/or operated by Air Canada (“AC”), Austrian Airlines (“OS”), Brussels Airlines N.V. (“SN”), Deutsche Lufthansa AG (“LH”), Discover Airlines GmbH (“4Y”), and Swiss International Air Lines Ltd. (“LX”). Additional carriers within EMEAI may be permitted between select city pairs. Refer to the fare rules in the GDS for details.
- Transpacific Flights: Flights operated and marketed by United and United codeshare flights operated by All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. (“NH”) and Air New Zealand Limited (“NZ”). Fares originating Japan are excluded.
- Canada Point of Sale: Flights operated and marketed by United and United codeshare flights operated by Air Canada (“AC”), Austrian Airlines (“OS”), Brussels Airlines N.V. (“SN”), Deutsche Lufthansa AG (“LH”), Discover Airlines GmbH (“4Y”), Swiss International Air Lines Ltd. (“LX”), All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. (“NH”), and Air New Zealand Limited (“NZ”).
- Online Bookings via United’s Direct Channels: Flights operated and marketed by United and United codeshare flights operated by Air Canada (“AC”), Austrian Airlines (“OS”), Brussels Airlines N.V. - In the event of any inconsistency between this section and the terms of an individual Discount, the terms of the individual Discount shall govern. Notwithstanding any alternative carrier combinations or routings selected, Discounts shall apply only to through fares operated under these approved carrier combinations and routings.
- Only the flights listed below, operated under valid carrier combinations and routings that comply with all applicable booking class, Point of Origin, and Point of Sale restrictions and that are ticketed within the designated Ticketing Dates and flown within the designated Travel Dates to which a Discount applies, shall be considered an “Eligible Flight” under this Commercial Offer:
- Discounts:
- Discounts are non-commissionable (including any retroactive commissions) and may not be combined with other discounts.
- Discount applicability is determined using the first character of the Fare Basis.
- Discounts are not permitted on Basic Economy fares, including fare types EOU, ERU, ERS, or ERT.
- Discounts are not combinable with fares offered through any other incentive, certificate, promotional, or other discount program.
- Discounts do not apply to taxes or fees, including but not limited to carrier surcharges, international fees, or any similar charges or fees indicated in the YQ and/or YR ticketing fields.
- Discounts do not apply to the purchase of United travel add-ons or bundles.
- Discounts are not retroactive.
- Discounts are not applicable when the Point of Origin is Japan to USA, Canada and Latin America.
